For many finance apps, traders and investors simply want to be made aware of when an event occurs. To this end, Foretale offers the notificator node.

Receiving an email when an event occurs

The notificator node offers many different options for receiving a tailored notification. Nodes such as the template node can be used to format such notifications is specific ways.

In many cases though, a simple email with raw data suffices. The notificator node has an option to simply send emails to the address a user used to sign up to Foretale without any configuration needed.

See the below example, where a notificator node is set up to send emails to a user’s sign up address whenever a Whale Watcher node spots a whale.
