What are exchange credentials used for?

If you design a flow that needs access to your crypto exchange account, it is necessary to provide exchange account access credentials.

Binance API Management

Log in to Binance and go to Security. From Security select API management to take you to the API management page. Click on the right to create a new API. Give the new API a name and click next.

Least Privilege

APIs should have the absolute least privileges that they require. Under no normal circumstances should an API have withdrawal privileges, for example. Click “Edit Restrictions” in the upper right next to the new API you just created to manage your API’s privileges. Select the least privilege restrictions—i.e. the most restrictive options possible. Note that the IP address of Foretale Cloud might change at any time (at least for now).

API and Secret Keys

The API and Secret Keys generated are exchange credentials that can be used to connect your exchange to third party platforms.
